Surfing Gold Coast Surfers Paradise
The name says it all - Surfers Paradise! Surfers Paradise Beach is perhaps the best known of all the Gold Coast beaches. Thousands of tourists visit it when in Australia every year in the search of sun, surf and fun.
Surfers Paradise beach is about a 2km long section of Gold Coast surf, with clean fun beach breaks and friendly locals. The dunes are generally fenced off, with many access points along the front to get to the beach.
The surf is not the only attraction of Gold Coast Surfers Paradise. Each November the beach is the centre of Schoolies celebrations where thousands of leaving students descend on the beach for free music, surfing, dancing and partying like there is no tomorrow.
If you hit Surfers Paradise in October your surfing will be to the accompaniment of the roar of Formula 1 engines as the Gold Coast gears up for the annual Indy.
